Many school leaders have been given handheld devices in recent months as if mastery of PDAs would enhance their leadership role in schools.

Handholding has become a leadership skill of this century.

For many, PDA always stood for "public display of affection," but now PDA stands for a different kind of handholding - the use of Personal Digital Assistants.
