Who is that masked man?

Who is that masked man?
Not the Lone Ranger!
Not the president!
The vice president!
Nor his press secretary!

Too full of courage
Two full of bravado
They glide above the fray
Untouchable
Protected by their faith
Being chosen by God
They cannot get sick
Cannot sicken others
Simply invincible
They are unmasked
Once and for all
Shown to be
Antiheroes

Setting a bad example
They model reckless, stupid behavior
Endangering others
Forgetting
That pride comes before a fall
In going unmasked
They’re flirting with the Grim Reaper
Dancing with Death
Not the stars
As Zorro and the Lone Ranger
Shake their heads in wonderment and dismay
True heroes
Unafraid and proud
Wearing their masks to work
Undaunted
